Kate O'Boyle, BSc, MA, MIAHP, MUSABP has a Master's Degree in Somatic Psychology (Body Psychotherapy) - see home page - and developed her practice in Colorado, USA and Ireland. Within the context of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy, she has a Diploma in Jungian Studies, and is informed by Person Centred Psychotherapy, Pre- and Perinatal Psychology, Developmental Theory, Process Oriented Psychology, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing (Trauma Work) and Family systems. She has also trained in EMDR and Hellinger's Systemic Constellation Work. Kate is particulary interested in the use of mindfulness as the basis of developing and sustaining psychological health.
Prior to her training in psychotherapy she had over 20 years experience in the teaching and social work professions in N. Ireland. Kate has also trained in Traditional Irish Dance, Yoga, Contemporary Dance, Contemplative Movement Practice and Authentic Movement.
Kate is a clinical member of The Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) and The United States Association for Body Psychotherapy (USABP).
Kate is a psychotherapist in private practice in Co. Wicklow, Ireland.
